I got this idea from Jenn over at Kiyomi crafts. I think she did a better job on hers! I am looking forward to Teri's Stamp class tomorrow. Had a rough week, need to unwind a bit, and what a better way then to go Stampin... ... SU products, except the pink blings, googly eyes, and rubber stamps. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Hello Friends

Made this card "just because", to give to someone who may need a little "pick me up". Used SU CS & ink, whisper white card, black, ballet blue & barely banana. I embossed with cuttle bug folder. Coloring with SU water colors & blender pen.

I was a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics for 16 years, then became a SAHM, my daughter is now a Junior in college majoring in Nursing, and I am still at home...BUT

I run a Day care center out of my home, and care for 5 children.

Babies...

Made this for a baby shower. Chocolate chip ,certainly celery ink & CS from SU. Used scallop & circle punch. Cuttlebug embossing folder to make circles on the certainly celery. Aren't those babies cute!?

Birthday cards

I visited so many blogs the past 2 weeks, I forgot who I got this idea from!!! All CS , ink & stamps from SU. I usually always make "girly" cards, that's so easy to do with all the pretty ribbons & bling, so I decided to make one a little masculine looking, think it looks ok for a guy?

I got a nice Sunday surprise from my neighbor Joy (blog- A Place to be Me) She came to my door with these wonderful goodies, I am so happy, I can't wait to make use of them!
This how beautiful she had them package. My favorite colors, pink & brown.

I have spent my weekend prepping the master bedroom for a new look, so taking down curtains, rods, patching drywall, etc... I will try to find some time to ink up those new stamps that Joy gave me. Hope you all had a very nice weekend.

Baby cards & a name frame

Made this name frame, along with an album for my Sis in law for her BD
Baby cards I made with using the idea from Kwernerdesigns.com, she has a great tutorial on this.
Here is one for a baby girl, in the pictures below you will see some embossing of the buttons I did using the Cuttlebug embossing borders. I also used pop up dots to pop up 2 of the onesies on each card.

This card made with Birthday Cuttlebug embossing folder, vanilla, chocolate chip & pink passion cardstock. Cupcake stamps from inkadinkadoo acrylic stamps. Red bling added for cherry.

Image stamped on tissue paper, then crumbled up, flatten out & glued to white cardstock. Used the new scallop edge punch from SU. Real red, black, & whisper white cardstock from SU.
Kiwi, Riding hood red, old olive, rose red ink from SU, scallop edge punch used. I made this at a SU meeting at my up lines.
