Surprise!!

Thought that yesterday's post would be my last post until I got back from Vegas.....but I got some Happy mail yesterday, so I want to share that, then a card I made for Teri, my sweet friend.

This is a cute set of stamps I won from Jean at Dandelion Designs. So adorable......can't wait to ink it up!! Check out her blog, she makes the cutest stamps, and she also has one last give away going on.This is a card I made for my sis & bro in law, when they come out here from Texas to visit, their favorite place is the North Shore.....inside it says "wanna come"

I made this "just because" card for Teri. When I saw this image, I thought of her cat Mochiko!!!

Himawari Baby Card Challenge

Okay, here goes...this is my first time ever doing something like this, so I hope I explain it well.
I, along with Cristina, artist of the Himawari Babies have decided to put on a card challenge. Very simple, just make a card using any Himawari Baby image, and then post to your blog, then send me the link. I will leave this challenge running until 7/21. After viewing all the cards, Cristina & I will chose a winner, also a few runner ups. (July 25) So get your card created & send, also all cards will be published on the Himawari Baby website under HoneyBee Gallery.
Prizes: First place~5 sheets of HB images of your choice, a Eco-green canvas bag with a HB image, and a T-shirt. (provided by Cristina) Also assorted craft supplies from Michael's (provided by me)
Runner Ups~Eco green canvas bag with HB image & a few craft supplies. Depend on the amount of entries, we may have more then one runner up.
If you have any questions please email me, or if you need a HB image & cannot purchase any at this time, I will supply you with a few to play with, send me an email.

Himawari Milk Carton...

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be having a Himawari Baby card challenge. The artist Cristina is giving away 5 sheets of HB's of your choice, as well as a canvas Go-green Eco bag with a HB image. I will be giving away assorted craft supplies from Michael's. Runner up will get a tote bag with a HB image. . I will post the specifics on Friday. The contest will run from July 1-21, with the winner being announced on July 25th. This is my first attempt at paper piecing on a Tilda, I got the idea from Maria, & Risa. Check their blogs out, the cards are stunning!! It was fun to make & I'll make more that's for sure.

Beautiful Flowers & a BD card

I have two BD's next month, both boys will be turning 2, so I made two of these cards. I used this cute image that my BFF Jodie gave to me. I got this wonderful RAK in the mail today from Elena, (Bearsaurus Addicted to Crafts) she is another local crafter. Check out her blog, she has such wonderful projects, and she makes these Beautiful crochet flowers!! I told her to sell them to us....

Sorry for these yucky pictures, but boy did I have camera problems today! I tried to take this outside in the patio, and I think the "blue" reflection of the pool has something to do with these "blueish" pics!! Anyway, here is a few of those folders that are so perfect for putting images in, I got one from Joy a while ago & thought it is a great way to share images . I have two of my blogging friends that are falling in love with Tildas , so I decided to share some with them. Hope they like it!!

Got this cute image from Jodie. I tried to follow a sketch that I seen on Maria's blog, but her image was in an oval scallop circle. I made this tablet for Sweet Teri!! She was so kind to pick up something for me at J's. Thanks Teri!

Hope everyone is having a nice week so far, can't believe that half the year is over already. I have been so busy, that I am looking forward to my Vegas vacation in a few weeks. Jamee is now of legal age (21), so she can finally join us at the blackjack tables & the machines.....

More Himawari projects & Edward!!!

(Blog currently under construction) I spent the day at the Luau that Habilitat puts on up at WWCC. They had Da Braddas (local comedians) for entertainment, they are so funny!! I was laughing so much I couldn't eat my food! My husband & daughter thought I was nuts......wait they KNOW I am nuts!! When I got home I finished the projects that I prepped last night. I made a tablet using this cute Hula girl image from Cristina @ Himawari Babies. Desk top post-it note holder. Made it in my favorite color, this is for Cristina from Himawari Babies.

Ballerina

I tried Teri's tutorial for this card holder, it was a very easy tutorial to follow. Check it out, she has the neatest creations. I made a few of these to hold a "surprise" in. Jodie gave me a bunch of this images of a very cute Ballerina, so I decided to play with it! It is so cute & easy to color. I used stickles on the tutu but it doesn't show in the pictures.

All card stock is from SU, the printed paper is still coming from my scrap pile, and the pretty flowers are from Summer over at Roses on Paper.
